Type A: Data and Materials

Appendix Index

Type A appendices cover data and technical materials that support the thesis’s artefact chapters. Each module is registered by stem identifier, file reference, and semantic topic. Registration entries are maintained as the authoritative cross-reference for locating governed data within the appendix corpus.

Supplementary Context Modules

Supplementary context modules ground the chapter prose in literature, methodology and adjacent technical detail. They are referenced from the chapter sections that depend on them.

Interactive HTML artefacts

Interactive HTML artefacts complement the static figures and data appendices with browser-based exploration surfaces. Each entry below is a labelled inventory record giving the artefact’s chapter binding, its location (or planned location) within the deposited thesis, the SHA-256 integrity hash where the artefact has been intaken, and the static-image fallback to which the figure callout resolves when an examiner reads the printed thesis. The reproducibility chain for these artefacts is governed by the intaken-prototypes manifest for intaken prototypes and by the unified figures index for fully promoted artefacts.

SDA standards explorer

Title: Stage 4 unified-dataset SDA standards explorer (v1.2, W6.1 extended).
Chapter binding: supports Ch5 (the standardisation schema — Standards Decomposition Analysis).

SHA-256: in-place artefact; integrity tracked through the Ch5 artefact-bundle build manifest rather than the intaken-prototypes manifest.

v1.2 affordances (W6.1): six tabs — Graph, Elements, Clauses, Analysis, Residual ledger (per-primitive residual entries with residual_flag, rationale, and disposition pathway sourced from appendix-data-standards-serialisation-schema and appendix-data-recpol-specification; 91 derived entries across five disposition pathways — lexical_polysemy, fallback_element, role_other, force_mixed, structural_unlinked), and Audit trail (per record_uid records with the five-layer governance-audit-layer fields per the SDA serialisation schema; 189 figure-channel records). Per-term enumeration of the 54 fallback-to-element residual cohort and the text-channel record_uid rows are recorded as W6.1 implementation debt pending materialisation of the primitive_assignments JSON.

Extended SDA explorer (delivered W6.1, in-place extension)

Delivery status: delivered as an in-place extension of the existing SDA standards explorer entry above per §1.6 C6 of plan-figures-and-html-artefacts-consolidated-2026-05-23. The originally planned sibling at sda-standards-explorer-v2.html was sealed against creation; the URL of the canonical explorer is unchanged so existing citations in appendix-data-ch5-reproducibility and appendix-data-sda-results-and-data-package resolve to the v1.2 artefact without modification.

D-constraint viewer (shipped, W6.2)

Title: the generator constraint-satisfaction viewer.

Type B: Supplementary Context Essays

Supplementary Context Essay Index

Type B appendices are self-contained context essays. Each gathers the historical, standards, or theoretical background that grounds a chapter’s argument but would interrupt it if carried in the main text, and each can be read on its own. The essays are referenced from the chapters they support.
